The Number 23 Strikes Naperville Again

Naperville has once again been devastated by the number 23. Last week it was the 23rd felony gun arrest at Naperville’s TopGolf. Now it is the judgement awarded against Naperville by a Chicago court to the estate of a person found to have been pressured into a murder confession by now deceased Naperville police. $23 as in $23 million dollars for this alleged civil rights violation.

A stunning amount of money!

It also highlights the danger and risk presented by civil rights cases.

Think guns … namely the gun case which Naperville needlessly stumbled into. The U.S. Supreme Court has all but said they will be ruling against Naperville whenever that case gets there. How many millions will that cost us?

Also think AirPods. We spent years prosecuting an African American high school student over an air pod theft she was found innocent of. She apparently was rejected by colleges because of the charge. What are we looking at there?

Buckle up taxpayers… litigation exposure is high around here. Also look out for anything with the number 23 on it … this number is looking more and more like the mark of the beast around Naperville these days.

Naperville has embraced the number 23 which the Principia Discordia shows us is considered evil, unlucky, sinister, strange, foul, and unholy per the texts. As a corollary of the Law of Fives, the 23 Enigma is one of the classic examples of numbers that should lie entirely within the realms of balanced positive energy, yet are infinitely evil and bad when actually applied. That’s science, and it obvious that Naperville will remain in this unbalanced state of 23 until there is massive paradigm-shifting change to embrace good in our community.

We of the North, consider this obsession with such evil portends to be a sign of a greater malaise in our little town, and will be considering the stance of all Candidates viv a vis 23’s as a flat-out disqualifier if not in line with the goodness and light that we embrace.

As mentioned, we live in a Litigious Society. This is why city governments and most organizations carry Insurance. It is the only way realistic way to protect city government from the costs of being sued. So finally residents we see some value out of all the years of paying insurance premiums.

As to the “assault” rifle ban lawsuit. A private organization is providing for all the city’s legal services needs in defending this ordnance pro-bono.

The City has not ruled out the option of appealing the $22.5 million ruling.
