The Naperville city council, along with numerous corporations, have become part of the problem, by creating the position of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager. The person selected is not the problem. DEI trainers are simply taking advantage of an opportunity to perpetuate racism in order to have a career.. Simply stated, the city council, wanting to be politically correct got snookered by trying to alleviate guilt with virtue signaling. Council members would never admit it, they simply want to join the crowd, by doing something, anything to show their ‘good intentions of being “good people’.
